YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS are invited to schedule sessions at Growing Community Garden to explore any level of gardening skills, knowledge, or practice. Organizations will include (but not be limited to) 4-H clubs/individuals, scouting troops, school groups, after-school groups, faith community youth groups, other special interest groups.
Learning may include: How to grow a butterfly garden. How to start a composting system. How to garden from porch pots, straw bales, in-ground plantings. Any individual or group may pursue learning goals that fit their situation - merit badges, Eagle Scout, 4-H age-level projects, etc.
